Page Turners Please

Hey All, I'm gonna be layed up for over two weeks (outta work) after my knee surgery at the end of this month and I'm trying to collect some books to read.

What have you read lately thats good??

To give you an idea of my interest, I like crime stuff like Patricia Cornwell's Scarpetta series. I think I heard of another writer thats as good as her that writes about serial killers too but I cant remember the name.

I like Micheal Crichton, but havent read him in awhile. Has he got anything new out thats worth a peak??

I already have The Time Travelors Wife and some romance smut put aside but I read books fast. I'm predicting I'll blow thru at least 10 - 12 books.

So help me out here!!

oh, and dont be shy....I need some ideas!! Thanks ;)

Michael Robotham! He's awesome. And not just because I like to pronounce his last name like "robot-ham". Really good crime stuff :-)

Try some Greg Iles, he is great, or how about some Robert Ludlum or what about Nelson DeMille? He has to be my favorite!! Good luck with that surgery!!

Found you through Gia's blog...we both agree baking soda will work to clear out the funky dispatch area smell :)

Catherine Coulter has an FBI series....they tend towards mystery and romance, but theres some cool stories in the series. Julie Garwood is another one, again FBI thriller/romance.
