This pisses me off. I HAVE a plan unlike most people; nonbelievers if you will. I think this is horseshit. Lies. Cause I'm not even going to get bit. pfffft.

Friday laughs

I'm not sure how many of you know the British show Little Britain. One of the funniest shows I've been watchin for awhile.

One of my favorite skits they do is the rude secretary named Linda. She makes my sides split.

Have a great weekend all. =)

Once a ballah, always a ballah....

I'm not sure how the word got out but somehow it did. The Navy was hiding 3 ex-softball players on their base in Oklahoma.

The sailor was invited along with two of her buddies to try out for Tinkers Womens Softball team. Both of her buddies played 4 years of collage ball. The sailor played on Stacey Nuvman's (USA Olympics Softball) gold glove travel ball team. And High School. And oooooodles of other travel ball teams thru the years.

This base team plays tournaments locally, in TX and KS and I believe other bases.

And the verdict after the tryout??? Um She Made It. Like I new she would. ;)

Now the the hell am I gonna get to all her tournaments?? Shit. I can count on one hand the number of games I've missed.

This too shall pass

OK GO - This too shall pass

I cant find embeding anywhere....but its worth the trip over to youtube.

Another one for The Boy Edith.

I Love the Sunshine

Its been a rough winter. By MY standards at least. I honestly cant handle weeks of what I consider cold weather. Cold weather to me is anything below 60. I've lived in South Florida for exactly 20 years this past January 5th and YES my blood has thinned. In a couple of years I will have lived half my life in South Florida. Thats amazing to me really.

The last month or so the weather has been crap. Rain, cold (and I mean COLD - 40's and some 30's at night) and not always so sunny days. So yesterday and today were a welcome, welcome relief. I need the sun. I love the sun. I love the warmth.

Today was a pool day. NO, I didnt go in the pool, its too cold. The water temp according to the thermometer was 62 degrees. Brrrrrrr. You wont catch me frolicking in the water unless its upper 80's. Minimum. I prefer low 90's. But the boys went in. Alot. They also ran around like nutcases for about 4 hours. And I got pics. With my new camera. =)

Jake is such a happy boy.

If there is a ball in the pool, it is Remi's sworn duty to retrieve it.

Wet Dog. (he looks very much like his daddy in this pic)

Wet dogs on my chair. YES I got funky tan lines because of these two.

Jake loves his Aunty Ginger. No, really. Jake doesnt give kisses to hardly anyone. He'll give Aunt Ginger a bath. Weird. I think he's got a crush on her. He actually was leaning back into her in this pic.

Thats George, my neighbor. Funny guy. Love him like a brother. Anyway, the boys are swimming together in this pic but more importantly this pic shows you all how close I live to my parents. The pool is behind my parents house (the one you see to the right). My house is that one you see right there in the center of the pic behind George. Yup, just a few feet away. Many bonus' to this arrangement. Built in babysitters for the boys. Pool. And amazing dinners like the one I was invited to tonight. Home made roast chicken, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, soft rolls and chocolate/chocolate cake for dessert. mmmmmmmmm.

Here's the boys playing. He who has the ball wins.

And this is why Jake is passed out snoring in the chair right now.

All in all a great day. Just how I like it. Totally chill. =)

Street Painting Festival

So this morning like my last post said, I went to a Street Painting Festival up in Lake Worth. Ginger (my sister for those of you that dont know her) invited me to go with her and meet up with a bunch of her friends. And for those of you really in the know, yes she is back down here from Boston. She moved back. It was too flippen cold and she missed me. Its Possible!!! To miss me that is. ;)

So this morning Ginger comes over, she's staying at my parents right now, Next Door, AWESOME! The walk over to my place is all of 25 seconds and she hands me her Fuji camera and said "Here, do you want my Fuji camera since since you are thinking of getting a better camera anyway?" WHAT?!?!?!??! OMG!!! THANK YOU!!! Its perfect and just what I was thinking about getting and it takes awesome pics.

So after much excitement and ooing and aahhhing over my new camera we left around noon and headed northbound on I95 about 20 miles or so. Lake Worth is just south of West Palm Beach and takes about 30 minutes to get to.

Once there we met up with the friends and walked around for a couple hours. The weather was OMG beautiful. Mid 70's and bright sunny skies. It felt delish after a week of cold mornings and barely 60 degrees during the day.

There were a ton of artist there from little kids to high school/college age and budding artist to professionals. They all used chalk and had little sections cordoned off for their work. One lesson learned was that I would go on Sunday next time. They have Saturday thru Sunday to complete the work. So we saw a lot of unfinished work. I may end up riding up there again tomorrow to take a look at the finished pieces. I dunno. Depends on my schedule because I lead such a busy life. NOT.

Heres a few pics I took with the new camera... (click on the pics to see more detail if you want)

a view down one of the streets where the artist where working.

I thought this one was pretty good and one of the few mostly finished ones.

So cute!

A young boy was doing this one...he was maybe 12 years old. Not bad! =)

I'd love to see this one finished.

Some more I personally liked.

So that was my day. Hope your having a great weekend too!! Edith, have fun with those cadavers!!

If you need me I'll be here...

I'm going to a street painting festival today up in Lake Worth. I've seen lots of pics of these things and they are always intriging. Cant wait! I'll take some pics and post them later!!

Here's the link to the website..

Check out the link and you'll see exactly what I'm referring to. =)
I dont know if I'll see anything this good today. Lets hope!!

Love the Olympics

I had always wanted to be an Olympian when I was growing up. Guess I didnt want it that bad lol, or I'd have been there.

There have been some really cool events that I dont remember seeing in the last winter Olympics and some old favorites too. I love the snowboarding and downhill skiing the best. The super crazy skiing high jump thing always makes me wonder just how crazy you have to be to say "I want to do that". Nuts.

Anyway, I saw an interview with Shawn White, the Gold medal snowboarder tonight and he said something that made me think. He said he was waiting for a call from the white house, he wanted to be invited to visit. Now this happens with a lot of sports pro's who've reached the pinnacle. And I think all them Gold medals is a pinnacle. So I dont think the request is that far off. But like I said its made me think.

I dont typically get political on this blog. My blogroll is definately a majority to the right so I figure you all know where I stand. Not that I dont appreciate the opinions of all, I just may not agree. And I do actually agree with a few left sided stances. Hence the reason I'm "just right of center", but firmly there...

Anyway back to what Shawn requested and why I was thinking. How rude or disrespectful would it be if I were an Olympian and won a shit ton of Gold medals and the White House called and said the President wanted to meet me and I said, thanks, but No Thanks.

I'd giggle as I said it too. lol

Its the cute things

I WISH I'd thought of this first. He really does look like Jake.

Sometime again this year, we taxpayers will again receive another 'Economic Stimulus' payment.

This is indeed a very exciting program, and I'll explain it by
Using a Q & A format:

Q. What is an 'Economic Stimulus' payment ?

A. It is money that the federal government will send to taxpayers.

Q. Where will the government get this money ?

A. From taxpayers.

Q. So the government is giving me back my own money ?

A. Only a smidgen of it.

Q. What is the purpose of this payment ?

A. The plan is for you to use the money to purchase a
High-definition TV set, thus stimulating the economy.

Q. But isn't that stimulating the economy of China ?

A. Shut up.

Below is some helpful advice on how to best help the U.S. Economy by
Spending your stimulus check wisely:

* If you spend the stimulus money at Wal-Mart, the money will
Go to China or Sri Lanka .

* If you spend it on gasoline, your money will go to the

* If you purchase a computer, it will go to India , Taiwan or

* If you purchase fruit and vegetables, it will go to Mexico,
Honduras and Guatemala.

* If you buy an efficient car, it will go to Japan or Korea.

* If you purchase useless stuff, it will go to Taiwan.

* If you pay your credit cards off, or buy stock, it will go
To management bonuses and they will hide it offshore.

Instead, keep the money in America by:

1) Spending it at yard sales, or

2) Going to ball games, or

3) Spending it on ladies of the night, or

4) Beer or

5) Tattoos.

(These are the only American businesses still operating in the U.S.)

Go to a ball game with a tattooed lady that you met at a yard sale and drink beer all day !

No need to thank me, I'm just glad I could be of help.

See!! Your president/vp stimulating the local economy...

This ones for you...

Ann T. this ones for you. By "one" I mean post. "For you" I mean whatcha think of these guys. In response to your comment on my P!nk post.

Unfortunately, the men depicted look like good friends to (nyah), not my style in a romantic interest. I want the next Robert Mitchum, a different sort of guy altogether.

I think they broke the mold with Robert Mitchum, but here's my kinda guy(s).

Chris Isaak - Wicked Games (courtesy of Sisu from the other day)

I'm not sure if you know Chris Isaak or not. Thats no model mouthing the words in this video. Thats THE MAN! He sings sexy and he IS sexy. Wouldnt kick him outta my bed for eating crackers...

Tim McGraw - Live Like You Were Dyin

A barefoot cowboy hat wearin hot sexy mess. Whats not to like?? Yum.

Bush - Swallowed

Speaking of Gwen Stefani........can she pick 'em or what?? I found him first!!!! But alas I'm not Gwen so I lose. Gavin Rossdale was a hot mess in the early 90's grunge days but boy does he clean up nicely!! And he makes beautiful babies. Now thats Sexy if you ask me!!

Early 90's Gavin..

My Lord what a fine specimen of a man. The gene pool runs deep here. Gorgeous man, beautiful kid.

Ok, my work here is thru.

Ok the masses of Chicago came out to show some love for their #1 citizen last fall. Well, the new #1, the origional left that shiznit and moved into the Big house, errrrrrr, I mean the White House.

Actually, Oprah was prolly always #1. She could buy and sell that crooked town meeting leader 20X's over.

Anywhoooooo, I'm SURE Edith of Mrs Bunker's Chainsaw Emporium was at this shindig stompin in some fabulous shoooooooooooes. Cause in case you didnt know, SHE loves her some OPRAH!! just kidding.

Check this shit out. Its actually pretty cool.

Oh, and in other news.......Some doooood was attacked not by one shark but multiple sharks here in Stuart today or the other day (didnt hear exactly when). Thats messed up. And you know what his chances are of winning the lottery are now??? ZERO. Yup, he just used up all his good luck. Yeah, in fact he died so yeah, no lottery in his future. more here... Shark Eats Kite Surfer

Yeah, thats why I dont surf. And dont make fun of my photoshop skillz plz. Lauren like this one so thats all that mattered. Thats her on the left....

And also, I'm wanting to admit something. I'm Fucking Addicted to Farmville. Its bad. I need a 10 step program. Friends of Fred or something.

And in case you hadnt noticed I havent talked about Lauren in 5 whole days. Thats cause I cant. For reasons I cant disclose. She's well though. =)

TwoFer Tuesday - Maybe more...

I've been a fan since day one. Through the grunge, disco and perfect ballads. She is in another class and doesnt get nearly enough praise if you ask me. She's a pure singer and musician and she doesnt give a shit what you or I think. I dig that.

If you saw the Grammys you are ahead of my post. This is for all those that missed it. Its worth the view.

And I know its TWO for Tuesday but this is my blog. And I can do what I want really. So here's a third song.
So What

Yeah, lets just totally fuck twofer's the fourth.
~God Is A DJ~
If God is a DJ
Life is a dance floor
Love is the rhythm
You are the music
If God is a DJ
Life is a dance floor
You get what you're given
It's all how you use it...

Confession: I'd join the dark side for P!nk. Just sayin.

and I know this kinda takes the steam out of my last statement, but its my friend Booshy's birthday today. She needs some love so go take care of that for me. =)

AND COMMENT!!!! Tell her I sent you. Then she'll see how special I really am.
:“the super anal and disgustingly needy booshy wants you to read her birthday post. She’s the one asking, not me, and since it’s her birthday, I am being nice. So if she sucks, blame her, not me. I’m simply the messenger who is trying to do the right thing.”
