Me: "Hang on, let me check my calendar". I have no calendar. It just sounds good to say.
She knows me well and said, "Listen asshat, do you want to go to a concert tonight or what?!?"
Me: "Who's playing?"
Gingers playing the game now. "Just yes or no, Do You Want To Go To A Concert Tonight?"
Me: "I dont know!! What if I dont like who's playing??"
Ginger, "Oh, you like them, you like BOTH groups."
Me: "Both Groups!! Ok, ok, I'm in!" "Who and Where?!?"
Ginger: "My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult opening for Lords of Acid at the Culture Room!!!"
Me: "NO FUCKING WAY!!! YAYAYAYAYYAYAYAY!!"
Ginger: "LOL, be ready at 9. I'll pick you up."
Me: "OK!!"
I end the call and do the Happy Dance around the living room!!!!!! Woooooooohoooooo!! I LOVE Lords of Acid and MLWTTKK!
We've been listening to these groups for so long. Techno/Acid/Rock pure and simple from the late 80's early 90's. They are the origionals for this genre. And all the origional band members will be at the show this evening.
Now we don't judge here, we're critiquing. I have to say the Lords of Acid are some fucked up people. S&M, simulated sex, anything goes on stage. They are just flipping intense!
I'm going to throw something out here right now. This just may be too intense for some of you. You may look at me, or actually read me differently from here on out. Thats ok. But let me say this. I am not into the stuff I'm about to show you. Non of it. I never was. I dug the music and the crazy scene that surrounded it back in the day and I still do. But I never took the jump. What can I say. I'm a freak on a leash I guess.

Lords of Acid - I Sit On Acid
My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult is hard industrial with Techno. We were very into techno in the early 90's and this was just another style/version of it. I can remember these guys playing at The Edge in Fort Lauderdale on the same nights as Marilyn Manson & the Spooky Kids. Manson just made it bigger, he broke through. TKK has a large following and they are still recording. I'm in it tonight for the old stuff. I HOPE they play this one!
